Sant Rafael is located on the 8th km from Sant Antoni to Ibiza town. It is the only town in the island that has been declared “a place of interest” regarding the craftsmanship. In fact, Sant Rafael is the place of work for some of Ibiza’s best potters, who have created new trends with their works inspired directly from the Punic culture. Sant Rafael is a quiet town, but you will still find a generous number of bars and restaurants in the town’s centre which are so famous that people from all over the island will make the distance to visit them. The church of Sant Rafael is a whitewashed church that was built on a high viewpoint of the town between years 1786 and 1793. Visit the church to enjoy remarkable views overlooking the whole island and the far sea waters.
