Sant Miquel’s original small village has grown due to tourism with all sorts of services offered along the main street. Do not miss a visit to the church that is built on a hill in the same way as Santa Eulària’s, offering wonderful views overlooking the rural areas. The church’s central nave was built in the XVI century, and in the end of the century the church was enlarged with two chapels - Benirràs and Rubió.
The church was built not only for religious but also for defensive purposes and its beautiful fresco paintings inspired by religious and floral motives were discovered only recently. The shape of the cross is what makes this church different from others.
